Mothers are those very special people in our life, whom we can trust to be our on side – always It’s interesting, that the lady who pushed to mark a day for celebrating mothers; Constance Smith was never a mother herself.
You can’t escape it’s Mothering Sunday. Adverts, flowers, cards, present suggestions bombard us from every corner.
I’ve always said demonstrating your ‘thanks and love’ is not all about presents, flowers and chocolates but it’s doing that little thoughtful deed. It’s about making her a cuppa, tidying up, running her a bubble bath and generally being at her beck and call. You see for years she has looked after you and it’s just one day to pamper her. But don’t restrict helping out to just one day, try to build in regular treats for mum. She will appreciate your thoughtfulness. Cherish her with all your heart. Mothers are very special people and make the world a wonderful place.
“A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie” Tenneva Jordan
Mothers Day isn’t just about mum, it’s about your Nana, Grandma, Auntie or other cherished female figure in your life. Have an awesome day.
